DeltaWalker Classic System Requirements

Most modern Macs and PCs have plenty of power to run DeltaWalker Classic. If in doubt, Deltopia recommends 2 GB or more of RAM and 300 MB or more of free disk space.

DeltaWalker Classic includes its own Java 21 runtime, so you don’t need to install Java.

Supported Platforms

DeltaWalker Classic runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, on both Intel/AMD (x64) and ARM (ARM64) processors. There is a separate download for each platform and processor.

Apple macOS

macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later
Apple silicon (ARM64) or Intel (x64)

Microsoft Windows

Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
x64 or ARM64

Linux

A desktop Linux distribution with GTK 3, such as Ubuntu or Fedora
x64 or ARM64
On ARM64, glibc 2.34 or newer: Ubuntu 22.04 or newer, Debian 12 or newer, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 or newer. Older releases, such as Ubuntu 20.04 and Debian 11, cannot run DeltaWalker Classic on ARM64.

DeltaWalker Classic will likely run fine on Linux distributions beyond the ones we regularly test on, as long as they provide GTK 3, which desktop Linux distributions include.
