Integrating with Other Apps
DeltaWalker Classic integrates with other apps through its command line. With a default installation, the DeltaWalker Classic executable is:
- macOS:
/Applications/DeltaWalker Classic.app/Contents/MacOS/DeltaWalker - Windows:
C:\Program Files\Deltopia\DeltaWalker Classic\DeltaWalker.exe
Adobe Dreamweaver
Dreamweaver supports external file comparison tools and documents the integration steps in its help: search it for “file compare”. In short:
macOS
Choose Dreamweaver > Preferences, then select the File Compare category. Enter, or browse to, the DeltaWalker Classic executable inside the DeltaWalker Classic app bundle:
/Applications/DeltaWalker Classic.app/Contents/MacOS/DeltaWalker
Windows
Choose Edit > Preferences, then select the File Compare category. Click Browse, go to the DeltaWalker Classic installation folder, and select the DeltaWalker Classic executable:

Team Foundation Server can be picky about the exit code of the merge tool it is configured with. If it is, launch DeltaWalker Classic through the batch file that comes with it instead. Merge Command:

StarTeam
Choose Tools > Personal Options…. In the Options dialog, select the File tab, then click Alternate Applications near the bottom left corner. In the Alternate Applications dialog, check Comparison Utility, then either type the path to the DeltaWalker Classic executable or click the browse (…) button to select it. In the Options field below it, enter:
-nosplash $file1 $file2
Concurrent Versions System, Windows Client (WinCVS)
In WinCVS 2.0.2, choose Admin > Preferences…, then select the WinCVS tab. In the Programs group, check External diff, then either type the path to the DeltaWalker Classic executable or click the browse button to select it. If you installed DeltaWalker Classic with the MSI installer and accepted all defaults, the path to DeltaWalker.exe is:
C:\Program Files\Deltopia\DeltaWalker Classic\DeltaWalker.exe
